My Guest Post at Feminist Mormon Housewives

Actor Crush of the Day: Gregory Peck

See my first guest post on someone else's blog, ever, HERE. It was posted Wednesday, October 26th, so as the days go by it will be farther down the page.

I had some fun reminiscing about Halloween, and contrasting it with how it feels today, as a mother.

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY! My baby is SEVEN . . . . . .!

Cool! I am thinking of giving your plug here a plug as well as your guest blog at the forum I hang out at known as Nauvoo. I am Abby76 there. If you register there, you will have to come hang out with us at the "porch." There are some really neat sisters there! I will wait a couple of days before I put in the plug should you have an objection. I would be giving some background in a positive way. I find blogging a much better way to make friends than blogs for the most part. You are a wonderful exception to that rule. I think Tanya Spackman would be cool to hang out with too. :)Well, I know somethings cause you anxiety and that is not my desire so I am asking first before posting.

I have not been to Nauvoo yet to see if you have joined. I will not say anything though unless you tell me it is okay. If you do not say, that is cool. You have to do things at your pace and what you feel comfortable with. The party is ongoing if you ever want to come on over!

I wanted to add that I think that when you are on an even keel that you have a firmer grip on reality than the average person. Not everyone has you powers of perception. I guess they say that people like in others what they like in themselves often times. Although I struggle with my ocd and my be a little manic at times, I feel that I can be very rationale and have a keen understanding of humanity. You have so many diverse interests. The other two people that I know with bipolar seem to have trouble for the most part articulating their interests. I just want you to know that you are exceptional in the best of ways!

I'm not the biggest fan of Halloween when it comes to trick or treating. I was SO happy yesterday when my father in law came in his van to pick anyone up that was tired. And wet. It rained. Ugh. But I will say that I remember how great it was when I was younger (I got an entire brown grocery bag of candy in 7th grade) and I don't want to rip the kids off. They may not have it as great as we do, but they don't know any better. :)
