Well DUH, Mommy!

Actor Crush of the Day: Matthew Fox

Yesterday in church, I was reminding and insisting that Emily fold her arms. Later in the meeting, when I had to remind her yet again, she insisted, "I AM!". And I said, "No you're not!". She again insisted, "I am . . . . . behind my back!"

I had to smother a chuckle and look stern as I more specifically requested that she do so in front of her back.

I had a bit of a giggle about it. She's a little wiseacre!

How cute! I will pass on a little story. My BIL's aunt watches her grandchildren after school before parents arrive home. On a recent visit, her middle grandchild who I think is around six took something out of his backback and quickly wrote something and put it in the backpack. Grandma asked what it was. He replied,"Nothing." Upon examination, she found that it was a note for his parents to sign as he had been in flagrant violation of behavior that he was warned specifically not to do. He signed the note, "Mom and Dad."

Sweet. On both counts. Gotta love little kid logic! If only I was as smart as I was as a child!!! :)
