Perseid Meteor Shower 2005
We saw some really good ones! The large, bright ones with the thick trails that sail across the sky. We stayed up until around 1:30, and in that last half hour we saw all but one of the really good ones that we saw for the evening. It wasn't quite as spectacular as the year before, but in some ways I think it was better, as I saw more of them, as I am "refining" my sky-scanning technique! Nothing to refine really, but it was a fun time.

I wish we could have joined you again this year! But even if Kitt could have gotten the day after off, we both would have fallen asleep trying to watch.

Yeah, we completely forgot about the meteor shower until a day before; and then it was too late for Kitt to get out of work. It WAS fun last time! We'll have to plan on it next year. (I won't be waking up every two hours with a baby next year!)
